The Spring/Summer 2015 bridal runways were exquisite with beautiful details that included illusion backs, non-traditional colors and a hint of modesty.  Designers are not only providing brides with many new options for their wedding day but still keeping classic silhouettes with bold details.

1. Illusion Backs

This Kenneth Pool gown offers a sophisticated front with a beautiful, illusion detail on the back of the dress.  This is definitely a dress that is bound to make a bold statement on your wedding day with a sexy, bare back to keep your groom wanting more!

2. Off the Shoulder

Marchesa offers a gorgeous way to wear an off the shoulder gown. This detail has truly taken over the runways for the Spring/Summer collections in 2015!

3. Short Hem Lines

Women are embracing the evolution of shorter wedding gowns on their big day.  Henry Roth has a flirty and youthful dress that exceeds wedding gown expectations.

4. Lace Sleeves

Designers are offering more versions of the traditional long, lace sleeve.  This year you will see many short, cap sleeves along with 3/4 length sleeves.  Oscar de la Renta has several lace sleeve variations in their new collection.

5. Non-Traditional Colors

Bride’s are getting bold and wearing more than just your traditional whites and ivories.  Shades of blue, green and pink are just some of the few shades that designers are offering for the spring and summer.  Monique Lhuillier’s gown featured in the picture above provides the elegance of a traditional gown with a twist of color!

6. Bows

Dating back to the eighties when big bows consumed the back of a wedding gown, today’s designers are incorporating them in the front and sometimes with added embellishments.  Carolina Herrera has done a beautiful job (picture above) adding a bow that blends beautifully with a very simple silhouette.
